| It's not uncommon to find used Omega 4x5 enlargers missing the baseplate and mounting hardware. Here's a convenient way to remedy the problem. This kit contains a baseplate and all the required hardware to properly mount a D-2, D-3, D-4, D-5, D-6, E-5, E-6 or Super Chromega E Dichroic chassis. This is the same hardware kit as supplied with a new enlarger. It includes the clamps, spacer sleeves, bolts, and even the wood screw for the center hole. The shorter bolts are used to mount to a D or E series baseboard with pre-installed T-nuts. The longer bolts and nuts are used if installing the chassis to a countertop. Installation instructions are provided.
The kit pictured has the baseplate and clamps finished in black, but the same kit is also available in grey to match the original D-6 and some versions of the other chassis. The black kit will be supplied unless grey is specifically requested by the buyer.
Note: This kit is not suitable for D-II enlargers, which use a different base casting. |
