One of the parts on Omega D-5 and D-6 enlargers that may eventually require replacement are the focus rods. What typically happens with heavy use and/or lack of proper lubrication is that the rods become worn in one area. That results in the focusing becoming loose in that area. If you add tension to the focus mechanism to compensate for the wear, focusing becomes excessively stiff in the other areas. The best solution is to replace the worn rods.
These replacement rods are used and have cosmetic marks from previous installation, but are in perfect working condition and are supplied with stop pins installed. Since both shafts will usually need to be replaced at the same time, we supply these rods as a set of two.
