| The Omega Super Chromega F Dichroic enlarger is a rugged, reliable workhorse. But to keep it working properly, it does require periodic maintenance, and one of those tasks is to reline the mixing chamber in the colorhead. The mixing chamber is lined with styrofoam panels which provide a highly reflective and diffuse white surface. But age and exposure to heat gradually discolors them. For optimum light output and consistent color, Omega recommends replacing the mixing chamber panels once a year or after 2000 hours of use.
